Plans for Salvation, Rededication and Baptism |
 |
|
Why Salvation? God loves you and He gave His only Son for you. John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that hi gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Why is important to me? According to the Bible, Romans 3:23 - “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” and in Romans 6:23, it says “For the wages of sin is death,, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Without Salvation, a person will spend eternity in hell. But God promises us eternal life in “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9,10. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13. |
| Prayer of Salvation - Dear Lord God, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe that your Son the Lord Jesus Christ died to pay for my sins. I trust him now as my personal Savior and Lord. I ask him to come into my life. Amen. |

Why Baptism? Baptism is an outward expression of your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. It is important to remember that baptism does not save. It is a demonstration of God’s lordship in our lives. Jesus tells us in Matthew 29:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
Why is Baptism important to me? It is important that we follow the example of Christ because he was baptized before he began his public ministry (Mark 1:9-11) and we must be obedient to what He has commanded (Matthew 28:19).
Once you except Jesus Christ request that a local church baptize you. If you are interested in being baptized contact us for arrangements. |

Why Rededication? God wants believers to be useful for the building of his kingdom. God desires to have full relationship and fellowship with every believer. Personal sin hinders fellowship with God. In Isaiah 59:2 it says that “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
Why is Rededication important to me? There are times that may have come in your life where sin has caused a separation in your relationship with God. God wants to restore you and bring you into a full relationship with him. He is ready to forgive and restore. I John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all righteousness.” If you have allowed sin to cause a separation between you and God, pray for his forgiveness. Commit yourself to live for him, study his word and pray daily. Trust God to guide and direct you to live a life of fellowship with him. |
